I guess the pool area looked a teensy bit cleaner today. The windows to the outside had been cleaned but the windows to the rest of the gym, clearly had not. It's ok. The pool was open and the water was not pea soup green and I had an excellent swim. Fridays around here have long been work from home days - even in the Before Times. So the bus coming home was missing about half the regulars and the traffic was really light. Nice.

Today is the first baseball game! One of the local sports reporters tweeted this morning that it will be aired by the Padres on MLB.TV. So I'll watch that and listen to the local announcers on the radio version.

Turns out my neck, I'm pretty sure, is 100% computer related. This particular computer, actually. It's the way I lean in and reach out and OUCH! So things are gonna change. I'll use a different laptop and/or different position, etc. I dug into my medicine stash and found some rollon Biofreeze. It stinks to high heaven but it actually really works. I used it a couple of times yesterday. Last night I happened to notice the Use By date. October 2001. ha! Apparently, it's still working and still stinking after all these years.

Besides the baseball game, nothing big going on here today. Just the usual. All is good.

Is the bothersome computer the one you recently purchased? Hopefully not one you love, at any rate.

The stink means it's working!

Your poor neck.

Susan when you have the computer on you lap maybe a cushion or something to raise it up. This helps me when i have neck issues that thankfully now are rare.
I am an older lady at 68.

One of my nurse friends said that dates on creams like that are just so the company gets you to buy more. :P Certain medications lose efficacy over time or some get stronger, but even for those drug companies will put the date WAY before anything would actually happen as a CYA move.

Glad the cream helped! I used to love my roll on applicator thing, but they quit making the kind I liked.

Ooof, tech neck is rough. I get it when I don’t force myself to have good posture in front of my laptop.

Battle Balm is another excellent pain reliever. The ingredients are all natural as well.
