I was able to sleep much better last night. Carrying my backpack and swimming were fine this morning. I was careful how I positioned the laptop to read and scroll. It was a little painful but I just tried to find a good position to write in and ugh. I'm not sure there is one! ugh. At least I have options.

We lost the baseball game yesterday but it was still fun to watch.

My brother comes on Thursday to visit for a week. I'm very excited. I've been thinking of things for us to do and places to go and am still having trouble finding reservations. I thought of another restaurant I wanted to try yesterday. First open seat is in May! We're on the waiting list. Just now I checked another place and they have seats open starting at 9:30 pm on one of the days he is here. Neither he nor I are interested in eating at 9:30 pm. I'm fascinated that all these places are so booked up. (I did find one (fancy dancy) that we know is good that has room for us nearly any night/time we want so there!)

I've also decided that as my birthday present to myself, we're going to Lyft anywhere, anytime he is here. It's so expensive and now they have a gas surcharge but I don't care. He's only here for a week and it's a luxury that will make everything special.

Today is dusting day. Everything really needs it so it's time. I'll probably do a lot of it while the ballgame is on. Also time to take garbage and recycling down to the dumpsters.

Biggie had a great day yesterday. I should say we had a great day. He was fun and snuggly and not at all bitey. Today already we spent a long time playing feather on the poll. Leah, the behaviorist, has been such a fabulous help. I'm so glad I found her.

We also changed his bowtie yesterday. We like the blue.

Ok so this position/laptop has enabled me to write this entry without wanting to amputate my neck so I'm calling it good.

Did you have recommendations from the behaviorist already?

Glad the behaviorist is helping. Biggie looks extra handsome with the new bowtie!

I am definitely with you on this one. On top of the fact that it's just too late (although apparently the whole nation of Spain disagrees), my experience has been that late slots tend to get even later than scheduled, presumably because estimates of how long people are going to take to finish are just that (estimates), and restaurants don't like to annoy the people already sitting by telling them they have to leave.

I think it's great that you & your brother enjoy each other's company & make time for visits :) Trying different restaurants & cuisine is definitely on my hit list as well!

I loathe dusting the most out of all housework. It's just so tedious.

I owned a biting cat once. He was abandoned by his mother after he was born & an older woman took him in. As he was growing up, she allowed him to bite her, so he thought it was ok. Once he was ours, we inherited that not-so-nice facet. I'm glad you & Biggie have been getting along lately!

I love the bowtie! He looks so regal!
