I've gotten increasingly satisfied with the local-ish pet food store chain. They used to be such fun. But now, the only store that is not insulting is far away and not that great. The rest are staffed by people who make you feel like you are intruding on their TikTok time. PLUS they don't carry what I want. I want Stella & Chewy's canned and pouch and maybe some more/different freeze dried.

So today I went to the other rather more local chain. All The Best Pet Food. And wow. 1. They had enormous stock of everything Stella & Chewy's AND it was all 20% off. And they had full stock of lots of other stuff I'd never seen (Biggie's never tried). I asked about returning unopened stuff and the really nice clerk said - opened/unopened, if they don't like it bring it back for full refund. Sweet. So I bought a shit load and while she was checking me out, she asked if I wanted to open an account. YEAH.

So she asked me the vitals and then she asked me if I knew when Biggie's birthday was. I told her March 10, 2019. And she said "well, I've got a birthday treat for him!" "Oh and you get another discount on all kitty treats." Added more to the pile, while she went to get his gift.

I got home and unpacked the gift bad and OMG. What a freakin haul.

Lookit all that stuff!!

So now I have a new favorite pet food place.

Yeah, he gave me a choice, he would wear the hat - for a second maybe - OR sit nicely for a picture.

So weird the other chain flaked but good that this one is around.

Mud Bay (I dragged you in there once) used to be so good. They have stores in Washington and Oregon and maybe more places.

But, this other one - All The Best - only has stores in Seattle.

I think it's weird to have two whole local pet food chains (esp with Amazon and Chewey in the mix) but I'm very grateful.

Yeah, I figured that was the place.

Sounds like a great store with good customer service, which probably means they are popular and business is doing well. Lucky Biggie with his birthday haul :)
