Clean and clear

susandennisThe pool water this morning was as clean and clear as it could be (well as clear - I am assuming/hoping clean). Better than it has been yet since I've been back. It's so much nicer to swim in crystal clear water.
Ordinarily, I'd take tomorrow off from swimming. I like to go every day but I need to be very careful that it is fun and satisfying always or I'll lose my mojo. So a day off now and again is important. But, I will be taking a week off when my brother is here so tomorrow I'll go and make sure the water is still clear :)
Today the baseball game is on TV so that means the good announcers. Should be fun. The Mariners have not won a spring training game yet. My theory is always Great Spring Training = crappy season and Crappy Spring Training = great season. This is based on zero insight and no numbers.
Also today I'll be going back to the great pet food store. Turns out that Biggie is not as big on Stella and Chewy's as I thought but does apparently LOVE a brand called Instinct which I'd never heard of but they have both a freeze dried version and a VERY easy wet version (little trays that are easy to open). They were both samples in the birthday bag - smart marketing. It is probably very expensive but then so is he. And I have Amazon returns. And I need a few groceries. Happily all in the same general area.
It's warming up around here. On Sunday, waiting for the bus was so cold and wet. Yesterday it was just wet. Today it was almost too warm for my raincoat. My brother will think it's pretty chilly but in truth, he's going to get lucky weather wise.
Off now to get stuff done!
