My brother is in this line to get my birthday cake!! We were going tomorrow but he looked it up and the bakery is closed Monday through Wednesday, so he just got up and went and sent me this picture. I told him that Krispy Kreme would be great or we could find another bakery tomorrow but he said he'd hang in line. They do have good cake.
Meanwhile I'm here enjoying the Mariner win over Oakland. Oh, just got an update - he's making good progress. At least it's nice out.
Last night we went to the Metropolitan Grill for dinner. It's been there for a million years - an old and elegant place. We ate ourselves silly. I was surprised at how busy it was even at 4:45 pm. Wild.
This morning we loaded up the car to the gills and Bill took it to Goodwill and unloaded it all. We have now finished the list of things I wanted to get done while he was here. We got so much done. It's such a luxury to have another set of hands and someone to bounce ideas off of and someone taller.
Biggie's not opposed to his being here either.
When he gets back from the cake run, we'll watch the basketball game. Lovely Sunday
