Kura is just fun. And delicious. The first time we went, last July, it hadn't been open long and it was packed with a waiting line. Today, no line. They asked if it was our first visit and we said no and they gave us a table and that was the last interaction with a human that we had.

The food comes around on a conveyor belt. You can order hot food from the screen and it is delivered via the conveyor belt.

The drinks are delivered by robots.

Even when you are done, you click pay on the screen and you get a QR code and pay on your phone. Easy peasy.

But... also... the food was soooooooo good!

Bill had a great idea for one last chore. We discovered a few (dozen) cat toys behind the TV. And no one had been back there in years to clean or dust. So we moved the TV and the two cabinets holding it up and vacuumed and reorganized the wires and dusted and tidied and it was soooo good.

Now I'm watching the ballgame and he's taking a nap and Biggie's watching the birds.

I love those restaurants with the conveyor belts. My favourite to visit is called Yo Sushi. I like that I can start with dessert if I want to!

I've heard of the drinks robots but it was great to see video of one! I wonder what happens if someone swipes your drink on its way past.

Being served by a robot is the coolest thing ever! That restaurant looks great! I've never seen anything like it.

And yay for cleaning behind the TV. In my house it's behind the washer and dryer that things fall into the Pit of Despair to be lost forever . . . ;)

I love robots and artificial intelligence, but that sounds like an absolute nightmare for the blind. I'm glad you enjoyed it, though, and that the food was good.

That restaurant looks like so much fun! The robots would be worth a one-time visit only, though I would definitely return if the food is as good as you say.
