And what a fabulous birthday it wss
Mar. 30th, 2022 08:28 amI will pull out my swim stuff and get it all ready for tomorrow morning. And a mask. For the bus.
When Bill first got here, I was all 'mask', don't forget your mask. But, as we went places, I discovered that fewer and fewer people were wearing them and neither were we. By about day 3, I quit making sure I even had one with me. Weird how that happened.
My investments nearly fully recovered all the $ they lost a month ago as of yesterday. Wild. And nice. It's all funny money but nice to have more than less.
The last couple of nights, I've woken up a little too warm so I think it's time to swap out the winter comforter for the spring/fall one. I used to have a bunch of them and choosing one was a Decision. But we took the last of the spares to Goodwill last weekend so now storage is so much easier as is choosing!
Bill and I started watching WeCrashed (Apple+) and now I'm hooked so I might be watching more of that today. I'm reading (and enjoying) The Survivors by Jane Harper.
Biggie misses his lap.

Date: 2022-03-30 11:52 pm (UTC)Same thing with the masks here in England. They haven't been mandated for some while now, apart from places like pharmacies, and it's starting to get rare to see them in supermarkets etc. People here are getting used to Covid being "one of those things" that (unless you have specific health issues) you keep vaguely in your mind but don't obsess over.
