Where's that guy that was here????

Biggie is wandering around this morning. Looking here, looking there. He cannot find Bill anywhere.

Getting back to the pool was great. The water was clear. There were swimmers but not too many. Pink swim cap lady got a new cap. Now she's blue swim cap lady.

Yesterday I did end up getting a lot of chores done. But I did not get to the grocery store. I need to do that today. I'm out of breakfast burritos and I don't have enough eggs to make a decent batch. But which store...

There are no groceries near here any more. And there are no clusters. I think I'm partial to Safeway but the closest Safeways are gross and kind of scary. The good Safeways are too far away to justify the trip. We have a small QFC (Kroger) that's not too far but they rarely have what I want. There's the Red Apple (a tiny little local chain) which has good stuff but not everything. Amazon Fresh is semi close but they only have tiny eggs.

Maybe I'll just go to the small chain one and make it a small shop and do a big Safeway run in a few days.

Also I need to make some cookies.

The next three baseball games are night games as they get ready to transition to the real season. I'm ready for real baseball to start. Had they not engaged in their little pissing match, it would be starting tomorrow and my first game would be Saturday. Sigh.

Oh well.

Biggie's given up the search and is now concentrating on the birds.

Max is restless, too. He's been biting me. I think the cats know it's Spring.

Is Biggie complaining about being an indoor only cat? Or has he settled down with it?

he's really surprisingly cool with it. when the door is open, he stands by in hope but doesn't really try that hard to get out. i left the door open the other day and he got out and went right to the ledge. i don't think he was jumping but i was sure a horrible flashback!

I took my mom to Trader Joe's and we both got some yummy things to try, but they don't have some of the things we need, so I will probably have to go out again to somewhere. I didn't plan very well in purchasing several frozen foods so I couldn't do another errand. Forgot the cooler too. ;)

Could you not just order online from Amazon or from one of your local grocery stores, or are they so far away that they won't deliver? You must make a lot of eggs at once. I can't imagine eating more than two in one sitting, unless they're small. I have done it, but very rarely.
