Where all the peops be??
Apr. 4th, 2022 08:50 amOn Mondays, the pool is pretty packed. The bus is pretty packed. The traffic is mighty so the bus home takes way longer. EXCEPT today is Monday and the pool was nearly empty as was the bus and there was no traffic. I feel like I missed a memo.
When my brother was here, we swapped out my Nest mesh routers for my old Eero ones. The plan was just to test really and then buy new Eero routers (mine are the original version and there are now maybe 4 models newer than these). Amazon offered me $100 if I sent them my old Nest and 20% off a new Eero. I sent the Nests to Amazon and got my $100 gift card today. But, honestly, I cannot find a reason to upgrade the Eero's I have. They are working great. So, thanks, Amazon, for the bucks!
Maybe I'll use it for a new chromebook. I have been using my old one now since yesterday and I remember why I wanted to replace it. The keyboard is just funky and some of the keys are a little problematic. But, it has gotten better as I use it more so we'll see. At least it doesn't drop the wifi and it isn't screaming at me. The 'new' one is going back to Costco for sure.
This afternoon the baseball game is on TV. This morning might be a trip to the pet food store.
We have a lot of wind today and my pinwheels are doing some massive wheelin'. Sadly, I cannot hear the wind chimes with the door closed and it's a little too chilly to have it open.
I just went to the website of my doctor (to check and see if their billing was current - it isn't) and the website is all raw code and unsized images. There's a /> missing somewhere. I did websites for a living for a lot of years and had my share of missing /> Mondays. Once when I was working on Microsoft's Zune website and had a new kitten, said kitten walked across my keyboard at just the right time and took the entire site down. I had it restored in just a few minutes and never heard from anyone about it but there was some major heart stoppage in those few minutes. I hope the clinic's web person has a better rest of their day.
Ok. Time to get going on my own day.
