Biggie's Big Day

susandennisToday is the day that the cat behaviourist comes to visit! It's almost not even needed any more and she graciously offered to skip the visit and keep counselling via emails for a reduced rate. She's already been such an amazing help via email that it would be fine. But, we want to meet her. I do hope that's not a mistake. She'll be here at 10. It's 9 now.
Traffic picked up some today. On the bus, on the road and in the pool. Not terrible but more than earlier in the week. Riding the bus is such a better way to fight traffic than behind the wheel. Whew.
It was chilly this morning but not really that cold on the way to the gym. But, coming out of the gym after, I got hit with a blast of cold air. I thought maybe it was because the gym was so warm. But, a guy coming out with me said "Whoa!! it wasn't this cold when I went in!" He checked his phone and, yep. We dropped 3 degrees from 6-7:30. Seattle weather is so weird.
Oh fuck, the building manager just sent out one of his cryptic (translation, all English words which strung together make very little real sense) emails that two of the doors and one of the elevators are out of commission until early afternoon. Nice timing for the poor cat whisperer. I hope she checks her email before she gets here. Maybe I'll just go hang in the lobby at 10.

Date: 2022-04-06 05:42 pm (UTC)There's a large bay that is sea level 2 blocks from my house. About an hours drive, there are massive mountains. In between there are a whole lotta steep hills and low valleys. A topographical map looks like the area was created by a drunk.
