It was cold again this morning but this time I was ready for it. Also both the bus to the pool and the bus home arrived within 3 mins of my getting to the bus stops. This keeps the chill down considerably.

I now have a plan for consolidating my financial accounts that I think will work better all around. Now it's moving money and changing credit cards at various websites. This will take some time but I'll get there and I'm looking forward to the simplicity.

The state has a nice little COVID screen shot for your phone that lists all your shots. My 4th shot is listed when I check 'your covid vaccines' but I can't get the damn screen shot thingie to show it. It's not at all critical or even important. The only time I will ever have to prove I've had four shots is possibly when I go to get my 5th one.

The Tree That I Hate (because it blocks my view from May to October) is getting little baby leaves. Pretty soon I'll be saying goodbye to my neighbors, the action in the parking lot across the street and most everything else that I can currently see off my terrace. I will really miss them all.

At the risk of jinxing all the progress, I'm happy to report that at this time, it has been so long since Biggie has bitten me that I have no wounds on either hand, no scabs, no bandages. A few scars but that's all. He's been exceptional or as we coo here 'sucha good boy!'. My bite free fingers are crossed that this continues. He's on bird duty this morning.

I think, today, I'll go back to the pet food store to return the stuff that Biggie won't eat and then on to Trader Joe's for a few things.

Today's baseball game isn't until 5.

Google, as always, is our friend.

A soapy water solution or window cleaner can effectively kill carpenter ants on contact but without residual toxicity. Wiping up ants' chemical trail using soapy water or vinegar mixed with a water solution will be useful. Carpenter ants tend to walk on long trails, so it is important to wipe away the trail.

OR

Made from crushed algae fossils, Diatomaceous Earth is a well known natural pesticide. This abrasive material damages the exoskeleton of ants that come into contact with it, eventually killing them. Spread DE throughout ant problem areas and directly on the colony’s nest if possible. Diatomaceous Earth is especially effective for combatting carpenter ants, which regularly die from consuming it.

I live to be of service…

(But still have the pros come out to investigate)

And, this is an example of why one should not interact on the tablet without one’s glasses on!

Obviously, this was a response not meant for you.

Serious, embarrassed apologies.

How odd that they don't give you a card or real paperwork. I'm glad about Biggie not biting you. Perhaps, he's finally outgrown it and realises there are more fun things to do that won't get him into trouble!
