Biggie's whisperer recommended Nina Ottosson's toys - so I got a couple. They are top notch. But the one that grabbed Biggie's attention was a cleverly designed cardboard one.



I dropped some treats into this and he was captivated for 30 solid minutes.

Today's dilemma. I keep a credit card and a $20 bill between my phone and its case. I never use the $20 but once in a while I find myself somewhere that does not accept Google Pay and so need the card.

In The Great Financial Consolidation of 2022, I eliminated that card. Now I'm using my Amazon Prime card as my primary card and it's some kind of crazy metal. Slipping it in between the case and the phone means NO wireless charging for me. I do love that it took me 24 hours to figure this out. The wireless charger in the car is finicky anyway so I didn't really think about that. But just before bed last night, the phone gave it's OUT OF BATTERY warning sound. Odd, it had been sitting on the charger for hours.

This morning, I put it on the charger and watched. Nada. hmmmm Reset the plug. Nothing. Hmmmmm DOH credit card!

So now I have to figure out if I want to use another card, another case, carry a wallet... and what other compromises do each of those bring? ARUGH. Life is hard.

Also, I ate the last breakfast burrito yesterday. I had one of my stash of McDonald's sausage biscuits today but I need a new batch of burritos so that's today's project.

I finished listening to Jane Harper's The Survivors. As I was finishing it, I got a ping from the library that one of my holds was available. Timing. I haz it. So new book tonight.

The ballgame is an afternoon game so I'll just be watching regular TV after that. Cleaning up some of the TiVo backlog.

Just now I remembered my swim suit is still a soggy lump in my backpack. Better go fix that ... then burrito making.

What's on the TiVo? I'm trying to find new stuff. Didn't know what was going on with LiveJournal being awful until I went to check your journal (I was golddustviolets).

Tucking the info of toys away later on for Door! Looks fun and occupying.

Tivo's full of some cooking shows and HGTV shows and then a bunch of medical dramas (The Resident, Transplant) and police shows (The Rookie, FBI, L&O)

Freya has 3 of the Nina Ottosson dog puzzles that she does every day. The quality is top notch.

I am having a similar issue with phone and cards . . . my sticky pack that held things on my phone lost it's sticky, so I'm trying to decide if I want to go back to carrying a purse, carry a wallet, get a new sticky pouch or what.

arugh. i need a magic bullet. going back to a purse makes me just sad. wallet+phone means one will get lost/left behind.

The phone is in a case that is attached to the wallet via a magnet. So wallet OR phone OR both. So far (I've had it 20 minutes.) I like it!

I'm glad that Biggie now has a toy that he loves! I couldn't imagine going anywhere without my wallet. I keep my money, cards, and identification in there. I've never heard of a metal credit card.
