I've beaten google to death regarding batteries for mobility scooters. Mainly mine. Turns out, they have a shelf life of 1-3 years depending on use. I don't use it much at all. And apparently my keeping it in the garage (my closet) for months at a time without charging it ever, is no bueno. Plus, it's now 4.5 years old. So... no wonder.

I ordered new batteries. But got cheap on the expedited shipping which I now regret. They are promising they (there are two of them) will be here Thursday. I hope they are good on their promise.

I can walk to the ballpark. But getting home is a problem. Especially after sitting for so long. Maybe I could snag a pedi cab. Ok now I am just looking for things to worry about. I will stop.

I washed three loads of laundry and piled up hot dry clothes on the bed. Biggie spent hours wallowing in fresh hot laundry joy. I finally put them all away and filled up his puzzle with treats and he said ok. Now he's napping in his crinkle tunnel here next to my chair.

If you look closely you can see his little fur butt sticking out the tunnel 'window'.

I actually did watch much of the broadcast of last night's Mariner game - at least the highlights. I wanted to hear what the broadcasters had to say. It was fun to relive.

Now I'm going to watch more of Anatomy of a Scandal on Netflix.

I saw a TV critic the other day bitching about streaming shows divided into episodes. His argument was along the lines of why don't they cut out the fluff and just make it a movie. I don't know why but I'm sure glad they don't. I'd never watch. Even 4 one hour episodes is far more attractive than 2 movies to me. I don't know why. It just is.

Uh oh. Our center fielder just got sidelined by testing positive for COVID. Ugh. I said I was going to wear a mask last night and I did not. I had one with me. I just never put it on. I only even thought about it once. About maybe 4% of the crowd was wearing masks. Some of the staff were but not many. So I just swam in the river of denial. I did not hang with the center fielder so maybe...

I love your crinkle tunnel better than mine. It's got fur inside, much better for kitty sleeping! Misty runs in and out from both the ends and middle.

I'm sorry about the battery. I hope the new ones come quickly. I couldn't imagine not wearing my mask when out. I guess I'm just that nervous about such things. Normally, I'm not like that at all, but having have Covid once, I certainly don't want it again. The image of Biggie sounds cute and hilarious! I, too, love warm laundry.

Same. For me, I think it's the implied time commitment required for anything more than one-hour long, because I don't like stopping things partway through. Also, I am less likely to doze off during a 40-60 minute episode of something than I am during a 90-120 minute film. In the evening, I will watch one 40-60 min episode of something, and then decide based on the time, how tired I am, etc., if I want to watch a second episode, or maybe something shorter (I have a few shows that are 30-min eps on reserve), or maybe nothing else. If I do doze off during an episode of something, it's not a big deal to rewind or even restart. But if I doze off during a film? Probably won't bother.

Unfortunately, batteries degrade whether you use the device or not.
