Sean and Noah arrived at 2 for their 10:30-11:30 window... It was ok, tho. Their text update kept me well informed and it did not inconvenience me even a little. They did kind of whispered a lot leading me to think this was going to fail but, they got it installed, correctly, on the first try. They did a fair amount of cleanup and still managed to leave a mess. The robot vacuum is working on that now.

They also left the styrafoam packing on the counter and Biggie zero'd in on it like it was manna from heaven. But I got there before he got his first bite and told him NO and miraculously, he did not try again. Bless his little heart.

The microwave is lovely and ohhhh so clean!

Now all is quiet and the upheaval/trauma/excitement for the week is done. Whew.

I have a new crochet project I'm thinking about and I think that's what I'll do right now - plus watch another episode of Annika which, based on episode 1, is the very best Nicola Walker series yet. It's on PBS either through Amazon Prime or on its own.

I haven't seen the series yet but I LOVE Nicola Walker. First saw her in "Last Tango in Halifax"

I first saw her in a multi-episode guest role on "Scott and Bailey"; then of course starring in "Last Tango" and "Unforgotten". All of which has left me wondering if she ever plays a happy character. I wasn't aware of "Annika", I'll have to see if our local station is showing it.

Annika is brilliant - I adored it (I torrented it as it aired in the UK). I do hope there's a 2nd series. Haven't heard anything about that yet.

ETA: Just googled -- looks like season 2 has just started!

ETA again: correction -- that's season 2 of the radio series. No word yet on the TV series, as far as I can tell.
