susandennisIt's raining in my living room. Well, not really. It's dripping in from the top of the sliding glass door down onto the slate covered door sill. So really no biggie. A towel is doing a lot to muffle the sound but both Biggie and I can hear it. Drip Drip Drip.
The guy is coming Wednesday to seal up the source so really really NBD. I've had worse. The units upstairs have very large terraces that are not covered. About half my living room is directly below the terrace upstairs. After years and years and years of miscellaneous leaks in 4th floor units, they finally decided to coat all the 5th floor terraces with stuff to stop the leaks.
Some of the 5th floor owners are all in an outrage about this as it means they will need to clear all the stuff off their terraces. Some have made them into fairly elaborate outside rooms. But tough toenails. I don't like rain in my living room.
Yesterday's baseball game was a doozey. It last 12 innings with the lead being passed back and forth. The Mariners finally won it. So... yeah! Today is an off day and tomorrow they start a week of games in Florida which means game times here are like 3 pm and 10 am which is just my happy place for watching baseball.
I think today I'll make a Costco run. I need one thing but also steps. So why not.
And that's really it for plans. I do have one unwatched Jeopardy so I guess I'll treadmill. But right now Biggie is play LapCat so I cannot move. Guess I'll do some random internetting.

There had been a problem with an ice dam before he rented the place to me but 'I fixed it.' The weekend after my Dad passed, it was raining and suddenly my living room ceiling sprung a leak. It continued to leak all fall and winter. It didn't matter what I asked him, he kept saying no one was dying so it was no big deal. (I reported him to Codes. He threatened to evict me.) Sorry, I'm sure you aren't interested but I wanted to tell you I sympathize...
