things i forgot and more

susandennisSo the drip drip drip is gone!! Could it be because it stopped raining?? hmmmm
I did my Jeopardy walk and took a shower and changed the bandage on my back. There is a little more dusty rose (I think), but it isn't hot or tender and does not hurt. I got a photo and sent it to the doctor so that I could have a professional tell me I'm a whiny baby. I want Humana to get their money's worth!!
Also, last time I totally screwed up getting that huge bandage on. Last night, I woke up in the middle of the night and had a great idea. Today I took a large non-stick gauze pad and lathered it with and put that on first. I could reposition it until I got it exactly right and then take my time and be careful with the big one over it. Worked perfectly!! I'm a midnight genius. Plus now the wound has some extra padding.
I cut my fingernails short yesterday. Really short. Like man short. And it's taking some getting used to. They will grow back, I suspect.
My latest crochet project involves a lot of yarn color changes. I sew the ends into the project and clip off the extra. I did that about a million times over the weekend and no matter how careful I am, those damn yarn ends end up all over the house. I think the robot vac will not object so I hope he'll get 'em all.
Yesterday was the first day of Pre-Summer around here. The door to the terrace was open all day and I was barefoot. Today is cooler but I do think for sure Winter is done.
I enjoyed watching the couple across the way do their morning workout - he does some mean jumping jacks. But my voyeur days are coming to an end. Those buds on The Tree That I Hate are for sure turning into leaves. Sigh.
