I did get to the grocery and got everything I needed. I also got to test out my new phone case with google pay. Worked fine. I got home and unpacked it all and made a trip down to the dumpster with all the trash and garbage.

I did laundry - 2 loads. One is folded on the bed and the second it piled on top of that and Biggie is in heaven. He's been very bored all day but now no longer cares.

On Tuesday, I ran out of one color of yarn that I need for my new project. The yarn is my standard - Stylecraft Special DK. It's a great yarn, a great size and inexpensive. It comes in 100 colors. So it's basically all I use. However, it's only sold in the UK. But, there is one amazing vendor called Wool Warehouse. They always have all the colors in stock and their prices are good. Plus they offer tracked shipping for only $2 more than untracked.

But, they most amazing thing is their speed. I ordered yarn on Tuesday morning. I received it today. Friday. Leamington Spa in the middle of Britain to Seattle in basically 3 fucking days!! I'm not even sure a local Seattle yarn company could get me the stuff that fast. And it happens every, single, time. They are amazing.

And now I can get on with the project. And I think I will!

We used to live in Leamington Spa! It's half an hour drive away from here!

Wow! That is fast.

I'm doing laundry tomorrow.

Is Biggie a cat? I've had to fight both a cat and a dog over warm laundry. (grin)

I really should start weaving again. I haven't done so in years, and I've always loved it. Is this a thin, thick, or standard yarn? I know what you mean about UK companies being quick with deliveries. I order nasal snuff from two of them and they are both very fast, though I don't think either has ever been that quick!

British postal service is amazing! I am constantly impressed with how quickly I get stuff from the UK. Oddly, it seems to move quickly even when it hits Canada Post. They must bribe our posties or something. I never have that happen with mail from the US.

Do you buy all 100 colors?

How did you pick the colors you did purchase?

I seem to remember a post you did when you found this company.

I've been very loyal to Red Heart because my grandma liked it. But I love the color variety in this acrylic.

I see they also have a nice cotton I might need to try.
