Cat in the Lap - itis

I would love to have another cup of coffee But. Biggie is totally zonked out on my lap and I can't stand to disturb him so no more coffee for me. He's been such a good kitty recently. He nipped me yesterday for the first time in weeks. And nip is really too strong a word. He put his teeth on my finger and then immediately backed off. He'd been trying to get me to play and I'd been trying to finish this game on my phone. His nip was totally legit.

It's lovely to have a snuggly cat that I'm not afraid will shred my skin when he comes close. Leah the cat whisperer is truly a genius.

I got tons of house chores done yesterday.

Today I need to stroll down the block to the ATM and lay in some cash. I rarely use cash but the other day, at the Goodwill, I didn't have enough. I hate to burden the Goodwill with credit card charges, but that's really the only place. So I guess my ATM run is simply a Goodwill funding. And steps.

I tried to watch A Very British Scandal (Prime) but it was one of those shot mostly in extreme low light (way too many Prime shows are like this) and, turns out, there wasn't any character that I wanted to see more of. So no thanks. I enjoyed A Very English Scandal (it's predecessor) but then it had Hugh Grant.

I also tried to watch Slow Horses (Apple+). Yawn. I didn't make it to episode 2.

I have a long list of Want To Watch so no time to watch crap.

Well, Biggie just woke up and got down but now I'm over coffee. I think I'll just get dressed and get going.

I'm perfectly fine with how they run their operation. I see and know the good they do and I love the option to recycle stuff. That's the important stuff - at least to me.

Maybe a cat might help me reduce my caffeine consumption ;-) My last job left me with a serious addiction.

when I was living with my folks, they/we had a mostly Siamese kitty named Samantha. My father used to complain that he couldn't sit down at the breakfast island in the morning because she was sleeping on his stool. I asked why he didn't move her. "She's SLEEPING."

Many years ago, when (1) we used to have tea and cookies as a frequent late-evening snack and (2) we had a cat, it would not be unusual for one of us to say, "Tea? I'd do it, but I can't because I have a cat on me."
