My investments lost big in April. On Friday alone, I lost more than I paid for my car when I bought it new off the lot. My poor financial adviser. I hope he's sheared up his resources from the last time we talked. My month was bad. His month, I suspect, was one horrible after another.

I always tell myself not to look and then I look.

This past winter, I found some slippers that I could comfortably wear every day. But, for the past week or more, I've gone barefooted. I noticed today that the bottoms of my feet are cracked and shedding skin like crazy. Looks like my barefoot days are over. My old feet just can't handle it. Time to get out the cream and the socks. buggers.

I made enchiladas for lunch today. From Dinnerly. For some reason I find the Dinnerly recipes difficult to read/follow. They always seem more complicated than they need to be. These enchiladas turned out to be just delicious. But they needed crunch so I went over to the neighborhood store. They never have what I need and want except this time. I knew they carried my favorites Have'a corn chips. So tonight's reheat of the enchiladas was even better with the chips.

I started watching Chelsea Detective (Acorn). It's lovely and easy to watch. Yeah!

I just went to my TV list website and hit the most amazing error screen. I've never seen this before but kudos to whoever.



Just hit refresh and the site's now back. But, still, great error message!

I couldn't imagine walking barefoot anywhere. I always have comfortable shoes, sandals, or socks on. What did the error message say? it was in an image, so my creen reader couldn't read it. I tried ocr, but it made no sense.

Are you up on your investments since they were setup? He asked curiously. I've got to set something up for my dad but not sure I can take any risk on it. I may just dump it in a savings account where it's probably going to 0.01% interest at the moment.

Not sure if you've come across Cloudflare before. A fair few sites use it to prevent DDoS attacks. Their servers sit between the user and the site's server.

Someone mentioned Justwatch.com as a film/TV tracking site, just in case you want/need to try another one. I have used it briefly in the past as it's useful for spotting when films are available to legally stream.

Oh I began investing in the 90's and have earned way way way way more than I have lost. They go down/they go up. So thanks for the reminder!!
