This is just at the stop where I get off the bus to come home. I live in an historic neighborhood - the oldest in Seattle. My guess is that the developers left this corner with windows as some kind of compromise with the historic oversight committee. Although they haven't yet tied it to the new construction. It only has two sides and one side looks like new brick. Weird. Stay tuned.

My treadmill gets put away today! Here it is ready for action.

If I swim, Then I don't have to treadmill. That's my rule. So night, night treadmill.

This is the bench it becomes when put away. It's only a walking treadmill. It won't do more than 4 mph. And I doubt it will last long (my friend who had one just like it had hers die on her year or so ago). It's a Bodycraft Spacewalker - no link because 1. I don't recommend and 2. It's now double what I paid for mine and I paid too much.

But it does disappear nicely, I'll give it that.

I have been on a streak of soft boiled eggs and toast for breakfast but that is way too fiddly for swim days. When I get in from the pool, I need coffee and breakfast NOW! So it's time for another batch of breakfast burritos.

Make ahead breakfast burritos are best when the eggs are scrambled as dry as possible and when all of the ingredients are cold before assembly. That's what the ingredients here are doing - chilling out. I'll assemble in a bit. Then freeze some and fridge the rest.

It's cool the way that treadmill folds up into a neat little bench, even if it won't hold up over the long term. Still, it's good for in a pinch. Aren't you so delighted to be back swimming?

Yummy on the breakfast burritos. I often do the same but never have frozen them. Must remember to do that, make up a batch in advance. So convenient, especially when one is still blurry from sleep.

I do mine with bacon and cheese but generally don't add cream to the eggs. But I imagine it does make them tasty! Great idea, thanks!

Thanks for the treadmill review. Saves me having to ask "how do you like it? and do you recommend it?" I have an exercycle I don't use and don't like, and keep thinking that a treadmill is the ticket. But perhaps not.

I've never been able to get cooked eggs to freeze well. They always thaw with such a nasty, grainy texture that I gave up on doing it. Instead I have a microwave method that has scrambled eggs ready in about 2 minutes. Still not as convenient as frozen!
