Yep, he got me last night. I sent him off the chair and pointed my finger at him and said NO NO and then he jumped up and bit me even harder. I sent the video to Leah, the cat whisperer and her diagnosis was that the first bit was because I wasn't paying attention to him (she was right, I was trying to get my computer to work) and the second bite was because he did not approve of the reprimand. ha. But, today we've totally made up and we start again. It really has been a month or more between bites which is way better than the hour or so before that.

After a week or more of no swimming, I'm having trouble adjusting my schedule. Yesterday it was noon when I thought it was just before 10 am. Today it's already 9:30 and I haven't done shit. But, the pool water was far less cloudy today and my swim was good. Really good. So worth it. Oh and also now, it's nearly full daylight when I wait for the bus to take me. So different from the pitch black dark of February when the bus stop first opened.

The chromebook I got a few weeks ago, ain't cuttin' it. Not enough RAM (power). The return window is still open so it's going back. I'm not buying another one until I find one that meets every one of my requirements.

This old Lenovo will work until I find what I want. I do need to re-shrinkwrap it, though. Then also box up the other one to go back.

But not today. Today we have a baseball game starting at 11.

Tonight we have a BFD at the stadium across the street. The Sounders (soccer/football team) will play in a Concacaf Champions League match. I don't know much about soccer but Twitter et al is having a fit about this match and the neighborhood is expected to explode starting mid afternoon. Should be fun to watch from the 4th floor.

Plus we're having a one day heat wave. The high today is expected to reach mid-60's. Tomorrow it's back to mid 50's where it should be. But, I think I'll go change out of my sweatshirt into a t-shirt.

This is from yesterday when I got home from Grocery Outlet Before The Bite. But, now he's all back to this cute again.

I admit to having no clue what BFD stands for, but I'm amusing myself thinking up possible explanations! As for the game, it's the second leg of the final with the score at 2-2 with Pumas UNAM from Mexico. Only two US-based teams have ever won the tournament: DC United in 1998 and LA Galaxy in 2000. So if the Sounders pull this off, it will be the biggest achievement in men's club football by a US team for over two decades. UNAM have won the thing three times, but I don't know what form they're in right now.

You're welcome! I can't say I'm a massive football fan myself, and in any case European football takes up about 99.9% of the sport's media space over here (England). But the tournament has reached the point where if Seattle win the game, they win the tournament. If they lose the game, they lose the tournament. What I don't know are the exact rules for tie-breaking if it's a draw. I assume some combination of extra time, away goals or penalty shootout, but I couldn't say exactly which!

Sometimes Mom's have things to do. I know you were only wanting attention but let your mom have a little time and she will give you all the attention you deserve.

I have no patience for that kind of crap, and I don't think it's cute or funny at all.
But, at least I realize this so no pets or kids will ever be subjected to my reaction to such, which nobody would want to see. At least I know this about myself. Good on you for being patient and loving, and thank God more people are like you in that regard!!
