I did go someplace - two someplaces, actually. I needed a board or something to put my keyboard on in order to type on my lap. The options I had in house were either too heavy, too big or too whatever.

Maybe there's something at Goodwill... I looked in all the non clothes sections - one after another. They had some great kneepads in the garden section that would have been perfect. If they were 3 inches longer. Picture frame section. More very close candidates. Tray section, again, too big, not long enough and one was the right size but too heavy.

On to the serving dishes section and there, on the bottom row, BingfuckingO!! A little tray that was born at IKEA. Perfect size, perfect weight, even a good color. I can filp the little keyboad legs up so that I have a bit of a slant and it is perfect.

Like it was made for me. I love Goodwill!

On the way home is Uwjimaya - the Japansee grocery. I stopped in there to get snap peas to go with my Dinnerly meals coming tomorrow. And I also got a chicken noodle salad and a strawberry fruit sando.

[personal profile] taz_39 turned me on to fruit sandos. I love their banana cream one and I'm not that wild about strawberries but this one just looked too pretty not to try.

Fruit sandos are really delicious AND sandos is a fun word to say.

I got home and my rolling cart was here. I wanted plastic because I wanted light weight. I wanted wrong. It looks horrible and was way too wobbly. Back it goes. Metal ordered. It will be here tomorrow.

Biggie needs some attention now. Then I plan to dig into that salad.

Sorry to hear the plastic rolling cart did not work out. I hate it when something I get is disappointing!

You always have better luck than I do with Goodwills, I never find anything good.

What’s in the sandos, besides fruit?

The noodle salad and sando sounds delicious.

What a clever idea for your keyboard!

I've never heard of a fruit sando before. I need to see if a store around here has them, it looks amazing.

Score on the tray for your keyboard!

The salad looks so yummy! [Of course, that may be because I'm hungry lol] I've not heard of fruit sandos before but it also looks good! As predicted, no Japanese groceries near me. Nothing interesting is lol.

I still say sando all the time (and choco if I'm referring to chocolate). Not a habit I want to put any effort into breaking.
