Morning delights

susandennisFor no particular reason I have a bunch of deliveries all arriving today. 2 from Amazon and 1 from Dinnerly and a forth random one. The last one is coming via USPS but the other three were all delivered before 8:30 am! And two - including the heavy Dinnerly - were delivered right to my unit door. Thank you delivery peops!
So today's todos will be unpacking boxes, putting stuff away, assembling the new computer cart and deciding what's for dinner!
I have Echo set up to sound one single trumpet at 5:35. Until this week, I always woke before the trumpet. But for the past two days, I've been dead asleep until the trumpet sounded. If I don't hear it, NBD, I just catch a later bus. So it's a pretty good system that now I know works!
I was dreaming that I worked at a small, scrappy company helping them get funding. Except I just discovered that the company does not actually have an actual product. The trumpet was a big relief this morning.
I got an email from the fabric shop/sewing studio down the street that it is going out of business. To be honest, I don't know how in the world it survived this long - 11 year. I'm sorry to see them go. It was a pretty store. Not too practical for my sewing needs but still.
And speaking of sewing, I need to do some. I have a vest that needs upfitting. And I need to make a new swim suit. My current one can't last forever and I'm not sure what shape the back up suits are in. I have the fabric and the elastic on hand so it's on my list. And I might need to make a couple of new tops for summer. Maybe.
But first Dinnerly needs unpacking.
