Since no one else seem to be experiencing the Dreamwidth no email issue, I thought maybe I'd just pop a note to help asking for, well, help. But, first because I try to be a good citizen, I checked their FAQ's. Why aren't I getting email notifications? I went down the 'try this' bullet points. Yep, got that, did that, nope not that... Check your spam folder... hmmm
Yep, there they were. Gmail says I reported email from Dreamwidth as spam. I didn't of course but godonlyknows what Biggie does while I'm swimming or even sleeping. But, all fixed now. Whew.
We are having an unseasonable chilly spring and I'm enjoy the every loving heck out of it. Our high temperature yesterday broke some kind or decades long record for the coldest high temperature on that date. On my reading page, you guys are talking about buying fans and setting up air conditioners and I am so grateful to be still at least a few weeks away from this.
I know it will get hot and I'll be bitching about it soon so I'm just trying to enjoy having to wear layers and socks and even my new puffy vest.
I have two little boxes of stuff on the cart under the monitor - nail file, magnifying glass, pen, hand cream... you know, random stuff that accumulates.
Biggie just jumped up here and put his snout into one of the boxes and came out with a very small cat toy that ended up in there that I had totally forgotten about. He pulled it out and put it on the floor next to his treat box. He knows his stuff. (it's a rubber toy, i can't imagine it even smells and i know he hasn't touched it in weeks. so weird.)
I think I might go over to Goodwill this morning. I need some steps and they were doing a massive reorg of half of the store when I was there the other day. I want to see what they have done. The fun thing about their store is they turn over inventory so rapidly. You could go nearly every day and never see the same stuff.
The Mariners are back on the east coast for the next couple of weeks which means games start at 4 except sundays when they are at 11. Me likey.

Date: 2022-05-13 10:24 pm (UTC)I didn’t report as spam. So irritating. And I have tried everything to reverse them. Not easy.
As for weather. Give me summer weather 365 days a year. I don’t like temps under about 75. I hate snow and ice. The last thing I need is to slip and fall, or break something at my age. Rain I can take, but keep the snow and ice.

JEALOUS of your chilly spring!!
It is SO HOT down here and I hate it, haha.
I have all these lovely jackets and only get to wear them 2-3 months of the year.

Date: 2022-05-15 02:49 pm (UTC)We had been having an unseasonably chilly spring, and I wasn't particularly enjoying it.
Then we had temperatures in the high 80s yesterday (only low 80s in Gloucester, where we were, which is still pretty hot for gardening). Supposed to be above average for the next several days, but not as hot as yesterday.
The Mariners are back on the east coast for the next couple of weeks
including a four-game visit to Boston. We're going to Thursday's game; you and we are going to be sworn enemies for a few days.
