susandennisThe showers at the gym have been hinky all week. No hot water or at least not hot enough. The one by the pool is ok but no soap. So I've been washing down in my suit with no soap all week. This morning I got a nice, long, soapy shower in my own bathroom. I'm ready for whatever.
Today's task was going to be sewing up a new swim suit. I keep the swim suit fabric in one dresser. I went to check the inventory and pick one and was greeted with not one but two fabulous surprises!
The first was TWO empty drawers! Wow. How cool is that? Of course, immediately, one was filled but still, I have one empty drawer and that feels luxurious.
The second surprise was a fully made (and even lined) never worn swimsuit! IL's a fabulous tie dye with red lining. I have no recollection of having made it (but, clearly I did) or why I never wore it. Best I can figure, I must have made it in March of 2020 and just stuffed it into the drawer when everything shut down. I tried it on and it fits fine. So YEAH! New suit and a free day.
I was also delighted to revisit my swim suit fabric stash. I have four different options, all of which will be wonderful/ I'm swim suit wealthy!
So today's task has now switched to orange juice hunting. Whole Foods makes what I want BUT they don't always have it in stock. Looking at the Amazon website at the stores closest to me, it looks like both have it today. So I'll start with the easiest one and use the other for backup.
Biggie is cracking me up. The petfood store gave me some treat samples yesterday. I gave him a couple and he gobbled them up. BUT when I put them in his puzzle this morning, he's like NFW. He got them out but no way is he going to eat them. Gimme my Temptations!!
We do share a love of junk food.
