I was right. I left home this morning with no jacket or puffy vest and I was perfectly comfortable. As much as I hate hot weather, I do appreciate how much it simplifies clothing.
Also this time of year, I especially love my window blinds. My loft has floor to ceiling windows in the living room (and no where else). It faces east BUT there is a glass apartment building across the street. So I get the morning sun from the east and the evening sun reflected off the building. The sun heats up the room quickly so I end up opening and closing the blinds at least a couple of times a day. Well, I don't. Alexa does. I can raise or lower them by remote, by my phone or by Alexa. It's a supreme luxury that I love multiple times a day.
And speaking of wonderful things...
Yesterday, I found exactly what I went for at Goodwill, plus. I found 3 fabulous tops and the most amazing quilt ever. It's a light weight summer pieced quilt that clearly has been loved and used. It's the softest thing in the world. I slept under it last night and it's the most amazing $9 I ever spent. I'm so sorry I cannot thank the person who made it and the person who donated it. It's the perfect Goodwill purchase. Something it is not possible to find in any other store anywhere.
Today is errand day. First the cat food store. Then a stop at Grocery Outlet - I'm still looking for Mission tortillas. The last two stores I've tried had none.
And that's it for todos for today. There's a baseball game at 6:40.
I'm still reading Tina Brown's trashy book about the royals and also The Patient by Tim Sullivan. I found a new (to me) series on Britbox yesterday - Blue Murder. So I have plenty of entertainment.

And these are the adorable little paws that he mashed up when he took the dive off the balcony last year. Only if you know where to look can you even see any trace. Thank you, Dr. Moore.
