While I do love the Dreamwidth beta version of the Create Entries page, I do not love that it does not do autobackups. So, if you hit the wrong button, you can easily wipe yourself out. I'm giving serious thought to using something else for entry. Docs, or notepad or even gmail (draft form) would work. Compose there, paste here.

Ok, I just moved this over to gmail. I'm writing it in a note that I will delete when I've pasted it. Let's see how that works. Now... where was I?

Oh, right, the first of the month. I have done most of my First of the Month chores.

  • Check the price of my condo on Zillow. I do this for my own amusement. It's down 12% this month. That's not terribly amusing.
  • Check my FICO score. All my credit cards and bank accounts offer up my FICO score so I have four places to check. They are all different. My score is good - always over 800 - and outside of insurance rates, I don't even use it, BUT I like to keep an eye on it just the same. Up 20+ points today on 3 of the sites! and up a couple on the 4th one. Nice.
  • Check Tile. I use Tile trackers on a bunch of stuff. Probably Apple trackers are better but I don't do Apple stuff generally and Tile sucks less than most. One annoying thing is that the batteries die without warning. So you lose something. Fire up the app to locate it only to find out the Tile battery died. So every month I check. All is good today except car keys. I need to check on that.
  • Load enzyme sticks into the drain. I can't believe they do a damn thing but the condo asks us to do it and it's cheap and easy enough to comply so I do.

Also, today marks the start of Pride month when everything turns into rainbow stripes. I need to check out the cupcake shop. They always do something fun with icing. Flags will go up everywhere. It will be good fun for at least the next 30 days!

My new blender/food processor is out for delivery. I'm quite jazzed. I want milk shakes and grated cheese and julienne carrots. It's going to cause another kitchen re-org but I'm ok with that. I wish it would get here before lunch but if it doesn't it doesn't.

I've got three meals delivered yesterday from Dinnerly and they all look delicious and one has ingredients that will hold for a fair amount of time so I can spread out the goodness. Each meal is meant for 2 people. They usually yield enough for 3 meals for me. So spreading them out is helpful.

I need to go to Costco (gas and bacon) but, that's not happening today. Probably next week. I'm going nowhere today. Baseball at 4.

Now, let's see if this cut and paste will work nicely.

Ok. Nope. Gmail draft didn't work. Too many formatting issues to fix. BUT writing it in my notes app and then pasting seems to have worked perfectly!! score.

I write in a Google doc and the cut and paste works perfectly without any formatting issues.

Another vote for Google Docs. I write my entries there too.

When I'm not online, I use my phone to write entries in my free version of Day One then copypasta :) I see you have other options, but just thought I'd mention it.
