susandennisIt was 60 degrees when I left the house this morning. That is the warmest yet. I scrapped the long sleeved shirt I had planned and went for a short sleeved t-shirt. At the last minute, I tossed on my rain jacket.
When I got outside there were a few rain drops so I was glad for the jacket. It then really started raining. By the time I got to the bus stop, it was not only pouring but there was thunder and lightening!! at 6 fucking am! I wish they would hurry up and install that bus shelter.
After my swim, the rain had stopped. But whew.
I got an email from the Mariners ... My Diamond Club ticket for next year will be $9,000. Holy shit. This year it was $5,700 and change. I figured they were going to upcharge us to cover the renovations but GEESH! Oh well. I told my sales guy that I was severely interested in The Press Club - that I was only waiting on seat specifics - how many people in the row and how close to the aisle my seat would be. One nice thing about my sales rep is that he is the most responsive person on the planet. My emails are answered in minutes. Every. Single. Time. It's lovely. He said that the seat specifics aren't out yet but he understands and will fix me up. Hopefully for a little less than $9k but if that's the price, then that's the price. We will see. I will save.
Now it is 10:30 and I have been answering emails and reading stuff and writing stuff and internetting solidly since I walked in from the pool.
Biggie is lying in my dining tray on the kitchen counter. I think he wants some attention. And I need to move!
