Well Fitbit won today's sleep wars. The bed said my sleep was 85 (out of 100) and Fitbit said it was 89. But, now that I achieved perfection once, I am going to be disappointed at anything less. Sigh.

Today is the day I can refill my inhaler prescription. I am not yet in the donut hole but fairly close. Before that amount, my inhaler is supposed to cost me $0. After that amount, my inhaler cost me about $400 a month. I've been cutting the dose and hoarding so that once I hit the donut hole, I will have enough to last me until January. It would help, however, to get one more refill which is 3 months worth. The website gave me a weird total when I went to check out. So I called the COPD Assist hotline and had the tech check on it for me. Sure enough, the total I got was wrong. She got one was $89 - much cheaper. So I said ok. Now I know what I've got to deal with and it will be fine.

I got an email this morning from UPS saying my package will arrive on Thursday. ???? I got nothing on order. It's from a Chicago marketing firm and coming from California. Cool swag from somebody? What fun. Now I can't wait until Thursday!

Also on Thursday, they announce the site of the 2026 Mens World Cup and the stadium across the street from me is one of the contenders. Wouldn't that be exciting?? It wold be in June so The Tree That I Hate would be blocking my view of a lot of the action but still. If I'm still alive, it would be quite the experience.

On Sunday, when I was at the grocery, they had a oranges in 8 piece bundles that weren't too expensive so I bought one and came home and made orange juice. It was not as fiddly, since I knew how to make it all work and I got way more juice out of this batch than the last. I saved the rinds for the disposal - a few a day. Smells so nice! But then yesterday, I got the idea to cut them up and flavor some water. I put two water bottles and then filled them with water. Turns out to be a great idea. It makes quite the refreshing drink. I think next time, I'm going to plop them all into a pitcher and keep it filled with water in the fridge.

I started watching an interesting documentary series on Netflix yesterday - Keep Sweet, Pray and Survive Obey. It's about the Fundamentalist Latter Day Saints. And it's really well done. I'll finish it up today. EDIT - fixed the 'freudian slip i made of the title but i liked it so didn't erase :)

I'm reading Rick Mofina's Her Last Goodbye. I'm only 15% in but so far, so good.

The treadmill is getting easier and Mayim is getting more annoying. My elbow feels ok and maybe even 100% but I'm enjoying not getting up early and not getting on the bus. I think I'm just going to go with it for now. If, one morning, I can't stand the idea of the treadmill, I'll go get back on the bus and go to the pool no matter the time. I'm grateful to have options and am happy about them.

No big plans for today. I'm going to the NYT mini crossword and then go take a shower and see what happens after that.

Mayim is annoying, isn't she.

I manage to ignore her most of the time and have no plans ever to abandon Jeopardy.

It must be an age thing. She is definitely of a generation.

Interesting Freudian slip on the LDS title. I have it on my 'watch by myself' list.

We're watching Keep Sweet too, what a horrible nightmare. I would like to give men like that a taste of their own medicine
