The Task Rabbiter got here. A little late but she pelted me with texts to explain and note her progress so no biggie at all. And yeah! I now have a nice big hole in my living room decor. I feel like I should lay own a yoga mat or something.

I've been on a mad hunt for tuna in oil. It appears, around here, at least, that tuna's been supply chained. There isn't much on the shelf. Precious little variety and zippy do da in oil. Tuna in water is worthless in my book.

Anyway, I finally checked Amazon Fresh. And they had StarKist E.V.O.O. Solid Yellowfin Tuna in Extra Virgin Olive Oil. So I grabbed it. I opened it this afternoon to whip up some tuna salad and it's FABULOUS!!! It's not swimming in oil. The tuna pieces are nice and chunky and I made some fabulous tuna salad with it. Tuna, a little celery, 2 scallions, a hard boiled egg and mayo - oh and salt and pepper. It's really yummy.

I spent the afternoon watching You Don't Know Me on Netflix. 4 eps total and I downed 2 today. It's intense so I'm on a break.

It's 85 degrees outside and 71 in here. I love my air conditioner almost unnaturally.

Baseball starts in an hour.

My cats agree with you! They won’t eat the tuna in water!

Weirdly, the last time I bought tuna, I ended up with tuna in oil - which I had *never* had - I grew up on tuna in water, and have always bought that. I opened the tuna in oil and went "huh, what do I do now?" LOL

I haven't needed to buy any tuna in a while, but I like it in the oil too!

OMG! I absolutely love the Starkist in Evoo. I buy from Amazon by the case. Twelve cans for a little over $21.00 this last order. My favorite is the lemon dill flavor….soooo good. I eat it right out of the can. I have tried the garlic…..didn’t seem to be much flavor. But over all the EVOO tuna is the BOMB!

It seems we are all going to be experiencing overly hot weather. It’s been in the 90’s here for several days over the past week. Echo is telling me that tomorrow will be in the 70’s thank heaven.

mmm. It's been a long time since I made myself some tuna salad and now I'm thinking I might also need to make a tuna run.

I love my air conditioner almost unnaturally as well, especially with as unnaturally hot as it's been for the past few weeks!

Have you tried Safeway? The Alberson's in Magnolia (which is now mostly a Safeway with the Alberson's name on the door) has tuna in oil. I know because I'm in the other camp. I prefer the water and had to really search through their tuna since a lot of it was in oil.

It's an old store. Kind of feels like a time warp when I walk into it.
