Sitting in the dark breathing
Jun. 27th, 2022 07:29 amI have LED's in my ceiling pot lights. Actually every light in my living room is an LED now that I think about it. So really no actual heat comes from the lights but it feels cooler to have them off so I do. And the shades are insulating shades. They are down so they can do their insulating. The air conditioner is going full blast but having trouble keeping up.
Every night FitBit tracks my breathing rate, my heart rate variability, my skin temperature, my oxygen saturation and my resting heart rate and every morning I check FitBit to see if I'm alive. Today I am but my breathing rate was way higher than normal last night. Everyone starts getting twitchy when it gets over 24. Last night I hit 20. One issue with COPD is shallow breathing - you can't really get a good deep breath so you take lots of shallow breaths instead which is not good. I changed my inhaler for one month (using an old one before expires from a previous prescription). It's likely that or maybe the heat or maybe I'm dying. Or maybe (and this is THE mostly likely) FitBit is just wrong.
So I'm just sitting here in the dark breathing. Tomorrow it will be cooler and all will be fine.
No one needs me to do anything today. I have food. I have entertainment.
I do need to lube up the treadmill plus a couple of other non-sweaty chores. I think I'll get those done and then take a shower and then sit and breathe.
