I went to Goodwill and found some good stuff - two treat puzzle toys for Biggie, a dress for me, some kitchen stuff...I remembered to grab some cash before I left (I hate to stick Goodwill with credit card surcharges) but I didn't have enough so I also grabbed my debit card to get cash from the ATM. And then I drove right past the ATM and forgot to stop.

My Goodwill treasures came to $65 but I only had $30 in cash. So I used the debit card.

Then on to Uwajimaya where I got great summer foods - noodle salad and poke for 3 meals! (bought with Google Pay on the phone)

But whew, by the time I got out of Uwajimaya, I was done. I really do need to get in more steps one way or the other every single day or soon, I won't be able to.

I made it home. But, my debit card did not. fuck. A replacement is on the way. But I do hate being the old lady who can't keep up with her shit.

At home, I put away Biggie's box puzzle and pulled out one of the new ones. And dropped some treats into. It took him a bit but he cleaned it out and gave it a paw's up!

Yes it would be a better photo if Biggie was rooting around it getting out his treats but he said sorry and went in for his nap.

Then my financial advisor called. This was the first time I talked to him since that time he called drunk in the middle of the day.* He wasn't drunk and was replying to an email I sent him about a week ago. (That's his MO - I send email, he calls a week later. It drives me nuts but whatever.) His answer to me email was not to worry, we have plenty of time - good answer but then he went on to talk and talk and talk and talk. I figure with the markets like they are, he probably spending most of his days trying to talk people off the ledge so I just let him ramble. He finally wore himself out and let me go. Whew. *While he talked I listened carefully to his cadence and pronunciations and now wonder if maybe I was wrong before. Maybe he wasn't drunk but just stressed to the max. Oh well. He's better today. And my investments are leveling out so all's fine.

No word from SteveTheLawyer but that's fine. My ear is tired.

Yay thrift finds! Yay poke and summer salad!

Also re: your previous post, good on you for finding something physical to do! Even a little bit each day helps I'm sure! Having that conundrum with myself currently; my new job is SUPER sedentary and there's not often time (or midday climate in FL) for walks. So for the moment I'm planking here and there or doing "deskercises", but that's not "exercise".
