Perfect weather

susandennisIt is cool and cloudy - 57 (14) and promises to stay that way all day with rain starting about 10. I have a ticket to the Mariners game this afternoon. It's one of those where I would be miserable if the sun was out. As it is, it's likely the roof will be over the field and the stands will be nice and cozy. Perfect. My next afternoon game after this one is in August. So I have a while before I need to stress about it.
My new chair is really nice. Except for the looks. (To be clear. I ordered leather and I got leather. My objection is to the decorative stitching which I did not order. It was not in the photo on the website. It was not in the same chair in the store. I have not heard back from my email - I'll send another on Tuesday.)
It has so many options. And the leather feels nice. It's small-ish. I can move it easily and it fits me. I'm pissed but I'll get over it. Even if they do nothing, I'm glad I got the chair.
I started watching Under The Banner Of Heaven (Hulu). I'm not even sure why I started watching it. It's mostly something that would never interest me. But I am solidly hooked now. Andrew Garfield is the lead and he's so damn good.
I'm still reading (listening) to Stephen King's Billy Summers. I'm at the halfway point and have no idea where this is going but will ride it to the end.
I've also got a book going in Google Books (words not audio) - The Umpire is Out by Dale Scott who was an actual umpire.
Sooooo plenty to keep me entertained!
Yesterday I washed every piece of laundry in the house. I have too many clothes. I keep seeing things I want to make. Usually an outfit someone else is wearing. And I have a house full of fabric for making but my closet is full. And I like and wear all the clothes in it so culling is difficult. I haven't sewn anything to speak of in a couple of years. Maybe for winter.
I'll leave for the ballpark about 10:45 so I have some time to treadmill, dawdle, shower, dress and head out.
