It's Tuesday, not Monday

I discovered yesterday that keeping Biggie inside has resulted in bird poop on my stuff. I have a shelf out there where I store some stuff behind a big curtain. And with no cat around the birds now think this is an outhouse. There isn't a lot of poop but when Biggie was allowed out there, there was NO poop.

Today I am going nowhere. There's an afternoon Mariner game and I don't need anything so I'll be right here.

I think I have a tire issue. The damn light came back on again. I think I'll do one more round of check/air in each tire and then just take it to Mercedes and tell them to fix it.

Who did not see this coming? This was Biggie most of yesterday.



Before I had leather furniture, I was really worried about cat claws. I have insurance policies on both leather chairs that include coverage to fix pet damage. Biggie's back paws are never trimmed and, honestly, his front ones aren't either much any more. He does not use them to scratch me, so why bother? Thankfully, he also does not use them on the leather furniture. He hops off and on with zero damage. Whew.

I spent a lot of time trying to figure out a solution to having a power chair in the middle of the room with no outlet. I hate the idea of a cable running across the floor. But I couldn't find anything that worked nicely. So cable it is. I have tape that kind of blends in with the carpet. It's just too good a lounger to lose the function.

But this morning Biggie's on bird duty. Here's hoping that evil eye will discourage more bird poop.

Re: the bird poop . . . You can get a plastic statue of an owl to put out there. Birds can't tell if it's real or not without getting close enough to be eaten, and usually just the shadow scares them away. one of my friend did this to keep birds out of her gazebo and it worked like a charm! :)

My long-ago cat, Missy Madam, was an indoor cat and would sit on her cat gym at the window and make little throaty sounds at the birds outside in the pines. I miss her, the little fur bag.
