Biggie is clearly cured. During the night he cleaned out his dry food and wet food and this morning attacked new wet food with relish.

But the cuddle he developed a few days ago remains. He slept with me some last night but this morning he crawled up here into my lap about an hour ago and has not left. Could be unrelated to his upset stomach and it's that he just figured out how to lap in the new chair. Either way, I'm fine with it. I like a kitty snuggle.

Now he's done snuggling and is eating his second breakfast. Yep. He's cured. Also good to know that not every vomit is the gate to surgery!

I made the first restaurant reservation for my brother's visit in September today. Last time he was here, all the places I wanted to go were booked. This time, I am going to try and get ahead of the curve. Also, better planning. Last time we just ate too much, too often. This time we are going to do better. But, also, the first 3 days of his visit we will also have his son and daughter-in-law. So I need to find places then, too. I can always cancel whatever reservations I make. So today I make.

I am now well and truly hooked on Ozark (Netflix). Also still reading and enjoying Billy Summer. So more of those will happen. Then the Mariner game tonight.

But first I need to treadmill.

On my not to miss list, Wally's for Fish and Chips in Des Moines.
Salty's Brunch on Alki. (Redondo is still closed)
McMenamins -Elks and Anderson School.
Haywire in West Seattle.

I'd like to get to one of Shota's places (Top Chef guy) Either Taku or Banzai Teriyaki

We still need to do brunch too.

Then the Mariner game tonight.

Success! The Mariners share with the Tigers the distinction of having the longest active winning streak in the majors (5). (Burningbright is happy.) If they win too much more we'll have to start worrying about fighting them off for a wildcard spot.
