1. My poor cracked peeling sore feet have just found and fallen in love with gel socks. I got these this weekend and OMG are they amazing. They feel great and they have very nearly healed my feet totally. I haven't even been using them with lotion. Just the socks by themselves. My feet are very grateful.

2. I needed something that Amazon was out of so I checked at Walmart and they had it. I'm not a Walmart member so I had to add stuff to make the free delivery threshold. They had my favorite tissues and deodorant and toothpaste (which was way cheaper than Amazon) so I tossed them into the basket. $42. THEN I remembered my health insurance bonus. I get $10 a month for doing the treadmill every day plus some for getting an eye exam and a regular checkup, etc. I had $45 in the account. I cashed it in for a Walmart gift card. Back to the Walmart tab and BUY!

How smart do I feel??!!

I did end up stripping the bed naked, washing all and rebuilding. It's going to be lovely to slip in there tonight. Now I'm going to finish up Season 1 of Ozark. I'm probably going to switch over to something else before season 2. I have several streaming services that are on short leashes and I need to make sure I get everything watched before my subscription ends.

I've got the night time version of those socks with open toes. They are wonderful.

I've been surprised how much better (prices, availability, etc.) I've gotten with online shopping at major chain stores, compared with Amazon. I'm particularly thinking of Walmart and Target. I started checking them first when Amazon stopped carrying the eye drops I use to combat dry eye, and offered a substitute that cost three times as much as well as creating far more waste plastic. (No, I don't want single use eye drop tubes; I want the big bottle, at the cheapest price.) Since then, I've also gotten better prices and/or availability on various vitamins, and at least one home medical device.

Those gel socks sound totally brill. My feet crack, too, sometimes to the point where it's like a cut. I should check gel socks for myself.
