I just felt like crud all day yesterday. I don't know if my poor sleep caused it or it caused my poor sleep but the headline news is that whatever it was, it was not fatal. Whew. And I feel like my old (emphasis here) self today.

There will be Goodwilling. I need some saucers for Biggie Food Bowls. And steps.

The Mariners are playing on the East Coast so no late night innings for moi! Today's game is at 4. Tomorrow's game is at 9 am! Love it.

I've done my Prime Day shopping. And assuaged my consumer guilt. We have a great organization here, mostly for women and families - they provide safe housing and care and guidance.
Mary's Place. They are immaculately and smartly run. They keep extensive Amazon lists. One click and you can find toys and goods that they need and want and have it delivered to them. They serve as my religious tithe. When I buy something silly or frivolous for me, I match it with a purchase for them. Plus, today I get 6% (instead of 5) cash back!

I am reading the most interesting book. The Library Book by Susan Orlean. I'm actually listening to it and it's read by the author which is usually a path to nothankyou but turns out this writer who can write also can read! It's about the 1986 fire at the Los Angeles Central Library. It's told in a most fascinating way. Think Tracey Kidder. And I'm 100% hooked.

I have a bunch of little chores that need to be done around the house and my big subscribe and save order lands today so there will be unpacking and putting away and cleaning toilets (because the supplies will be in the shipment).

I'd better get started.

The "tithing" is a good idea. I'll have to see if the local Humane Society has a wish list.
