Fever - Mariner fever
Jul. 19th, 2022 10:02 amThe next Mariner game (potentially the 15th win in a row) is Friday. It is sold out. I just checked StubHub where there are tickets to that game for resale. The cheap seats (normally $10-20 each) are $60-75. But, lots of sections have no tickets available at all.
There are three large (300-400 seats each) sections in dead center field (as far from home plate as you can get). Julio Rodriguez - the very special kid - plays the center field position. Not a single seat in those sections is available for resale. And I'll be there will not be a single no show, either.
In my section 33 (prob 125 seats) there are a few tickets for sale.

I'm in Row G. Looks like maybe I could make a profit (I paid $280 for my ticket) IF I sold. Which I won't. In addition to the whole winning games hype, there is also a fireworks/drone show after the game. (to be honest, if i didn't have that assessment paid for and was saving my shekles for that, i might consider selling. i could go 200 feet from my door and get a clear shot of the after show. i'm very grateful i don't have to do that!)
I need to mention that the chances of our winning that game are very slim. We have to lose sometime and the game is so hyped, that's bound to do it but... we're also playing a team with a much better record. And a better record than the teams we played in the last 14 games.
Britbox has the latest two seasons of Silent Witness - one of my favorites. Two of my favorite characters are gone but I still love the series. It's a nice baseball break filler.
My latest Amazon delivery came in a box with this on the side. It made me smile. Kids still have to make those?

And, finally. Some Biggie. Wonder who's waiting for more treats for his puzzle?
