susandennisThe condo drama has now devolved into venting about anything and everything. "And can we go back to in person meetings, please?" And no one offering anything close to answers about why there was no warning or decent lead time. One dude set up a straw voting site. in 18 hours 22 (out of probably 200 who got the link) have clicked on the link and voted. 11 voted No (as in I will vote against the assessment) 6 voted Yes and 6 voted undecided. Based on this, I think the chances of the assessment getting rejected are right up there with pigs flying.
But, at least those who needed to have a say have now had one and I am for sure no longer sorry I will miss that meeting. It's going to be ugly with a capital UG. The end result will be no different than the original letter. The amount won't change and the due date won't change. I'd be happy if the board changed but probably it won't. And I sure as shit do not want to go back to in person meetings. The only place we have to hold them is in the lobby which has a 40 foot ceiling and tile on the floor and walls. The worst meeting acoustics on the planet.
Here it will be status quo. I'll be inside, in the cool. I may make some tuna fish salad with some fancy tuna my friend, Frank, brought me. But, really, no other plans beyond that. Our local COVID numbers have started to drop a little which is very comforting.
However, I think I'll still stay in today. Biggie has me locked in anyway.
