Mini update

All was quiet and then Julio came out to play. He batted the balls around his newest toy and then he found the stick.

I got these weird sticks for Biggie but he just ignored his so I tossed it into the lounge. Julio thinks its FAB!!

And, then Biggie came in to see what was happening. He hissed a little bit but for the past 20 minutes, he's just watched. Periodically, Julio will stop what he's doing and star at Biggie. Then Biggie will move his nose to the mesh and they will stare for awhile. Then they'll go back to playing for Julio and watching for Biggie. Lather rinse, repeat.




It took a few days but today's the day that Julio has turned into a normal busy kitten. Discovering and finding the most amazing joy in every single thing. Except he can't get the balls out of that orange thing.



They are a joy to watch. I think this is going to work out nicely for all three of us.

That toy is the coolest. I'd get it for my boys but they're older and mostly bored with toys. Now, a rolled-up infant sock, THERE'S a toy.

For me, a cat's capriciousness is part of the fun. You really can't predict their behaviour.
