Biggie came in to see what I was doing as I prepared for the lounge cleaning. He was nosing around all up in the operation.

I brought out the carrier to put Julio in while I worked.

Biggie got one peek at the carrier and headed for the hills. I have not seen him since!

Is Julio your first non black cat? If so what drew you to pick Julio? A pet from his adorableness? Again thanks for sharing. Loving hearing all the details of their introduction to each other.

Nope. Actually, Bubba, a cat I had the longest and through moves to 3 different states, was tortoise. And Betty, who was the sweetest, was orange and long haired.

I honestly wasn't looking for color. They had soooooo many there. I went first for those labeled "could benefit from a household with at least one other cat". The first one I found that was active and spunky was a tortoise but while I was there looking, someone adopted her! The next one was a tuxedo but he had a kitty cold and watery eyes and I just did not want to bring that home to Biggie.

Julio was in a box with two other kittens all from the same litter. The other two had been adopted and were waiting for pickup. Julio was playing and cute and healthy and I knew would soon be lonely... so...

My cat is seventeen so he mainly sleeps. So it's nice to read about kitten antics, and see cute kitten photos.
