The biggest ooooops ever

I have these great wireless vacuum clippers. They have a wide variety of combs. This morning I picked out four and started with the tallest. I covered my head, no prob. Stepped down and repeat, no prob. I thought I'd make one more all over pass and then tighten up the sides and maybe neaten up the neck and be done.

And then WTF??? I had massive bald spots on my head!! I looked down and realized that I hadn't seated the comb properly so it had no comb. I was bare clippering it!! And now I have two.five massive bald spots on my head!!



OMG OMG. This is a situation for sure. Looks like it's hats or wig for me for a while. This is pretty hilarious.

i think that's exactly what i'm going to do - a long as i have to cover my head anyway, might as well give it a shot.

Yup. I've always wanted to be that brave - I shave my mother's head one summer and her hair came back in so nice...

just wore it for an hour and it wasn't too bad. more than that, i'm going with ventilated baseball cap

Note to myself: make sure the comb is FIRMLY snapped into place on my clippers when you start mowing it again :) Those things can be downright dangerous :D

At least it's summer and hair grows back, right?

I did just take the water spray bottle that I used to use to discourage Biggie and sprayed my head. QUITE refreshing!!

I cut my hair once in college. Never again for almost this exact reason, lol.
It'll be fine, and if it's not you can always pretend to be a crazy witch and scare the local children (that's what I'd do!!)

but, i'm over it. i just took the recycling down without a hat or spray on hair. au natural. nobody screamed or died.
