You lied!

A lot of you said that my hair would grow back fast. Well, it didn't. I trimmed it up and, honestly, it wasn't for the 2.5 bald spots, it would really not look like a mistake. A bad decision, maybe, but not a mistake. But, already I'm used to it.

I fell asleep before the end of the horrible Mariner game. Turns out it got worse so I didn't miss a thing. I woke up about an hour later and turned over to find a tiny kitten sleeping next to me. Julio slept with me all night. When I got up to pee, he patiently waited. When I turned to the other side, he came along and snuggled in. There really is not anything better than spending the night snuggled by a kitten. Really.

Both of my sleep apps reported substandard sleep. They can go byte themselves. I'll take kitten over their stupid numbers any night.

We won the first game yesterday but lost the second. To a team we should be kicking the shit out of. On the up side, the announcer that I absolutely hate is now gone most weekends to do other MLB broadcasts so I don't have to listen or avoid him. I'm also hoping that this will lead to a full time gig far away from the Mariners. Fingers crossed.

There's a food truck here in town that has been around for a while. They make meat pies which are good but not great to eat standing at a food truck. During the pandemic, they started online ordering. And I was hooked. They arrive unbaked. I can pop one in the oven and make a little salad and have a very excellent meal. And they freeze beautifully. And, then... one of their employees bought the owner out and the quality went through the roof. And they expanded their pie selection. I usually get 5 at a time, eat one and stick the rest in the freezer. I have a new order coming on Monday. But the point of this whole paragraph is to celebrate that just this morning, I found one in the freezer!! It will be gone today. Yum.

I think I'll go whip some eggs into a tortilla for breakfast and have more coffee.

I love the last pic. Julio is Biggie's apprentice. There's a video out there about a senior cat that teaches the new kitten the ropes. It reminds me of that pic. Biggie is saying, "Here I am demonstrating supreme indifference. Learn well, my boy."
