The up side

My hair stubs and I are coming to an accord. First of all. ZERO bed hair. This is pretty excellent. I ordered some tiny hairs - specifically, this stuff. And damn, a few shakes on the bald spots and they disappear! I can't noodle out exactly how it works. The dispenser is kind of like a salt shaker. I shook a little on and instantly rubbed my hand over it. The bald spot was gone and there was nothing on my hand. It's truly perfect. I took this picture so I could blow it up and see if maybe my eyes were getting near enough to see it correctly. But, nope. I can't even tell where the bald spots are!



Plus I got some nice, thin, colorful slouchy hats.

I think this may become my hairstyle of choice!!

Today is the last hot day for about a week. Hot being near 90. I can't think of anywhere I have to/want to/need to go so I'll be staying right here in the relative cool.

Wednesday the high is supposed to be only 75 and they are promising some rain!! I think I'll take advantage of that and the mid week lull (hopefully) and take Julio for this first vet visit.

I do need to make a run to the dumpster so that will serve as the thrill du jour.

I finished Uncoupled (Netflix). It was pretty good. Not stop-everything-and-watch-this-now, but nicely done. Good characters, well played. Clearly they are planning/hoping for a Season 2. I'm ok with that. I started Season 3 of Ozark.

Look at this. A whole entry with no cat info. No cat pix. That will never do.

Biggie climbed into bed next to me last night and Julio jumped on top of him. Biggie is so patient. He's often clearly irritated with the little scamp but he communicates that efficiently and kindly. No hissing, no meowing, no swatting. He does some kind of biting or mouthing on Julio's neck, silently. It does not seem to hurt Julio but he gets the message. He backs off but stays close and they are both happy. I've now seen it several times and it's pretty cool. I watched it from the bed last night. Julio got his necking in the hall and then they were both 'we be cool'.



But, last night, Biggie just left the bed and so did Julio. Julio came back for a while but ultimately ended up curled with Biggie on the sewing room bed.

Before the sun came out and I had to close the blinds. they did a little bird watching.

I wonder what Julio is going to look like in big cat clothes.

right?? i took a shower and washed it all off and the bald spots came back. sprinkled on some more and they disappeared again. fucking magic's what it is.

OMG, that hair stuff is EXACTLY what I need. My hair has been completely ambivalent about showing up since chemo in 2018. After about 6 months, it did sprout a little, but it's completely different from the hair I originally had. It's much, much thinner and strangely curly.

I've already got an order for the stuff in.

I haven't commented on your new family member yet, but I am sure enjoying the updates. What a little cutie he is.

This may be just what Biggie needed. They are adorable together. BFFs even!
