The billing department at my doctor's office is having a hard time. In February, they billed me for $117 that they should not have. I paid it because I didn't want them to send it to an agency. I also disputed it. They found in my favor and put $117 back on my credit card. That was in April. Now they have billed me for the same amount. Again. Now I will have to call them. Again. I love my doctor. I am growing increasingly frustrated with his company. grrrrrrr.

It is 65 degrees outside. Heaven. I have the door open. it's still too warm in here but cooler than it has been in a while. This building retains heat like nobody's biz. Oh I did hear back from my neighbor and it's not too impressive. He says the company has pretty much ghosted him. They had said they would install in July. He has not heard a peep from them in a month. I will be asking about that for sure.

Last night the Mariners beat the Yankees 1-0 in the 13th inning. It was a long assed pitching dual. But it did start out with a first pitch thrown by Dr. Fauci!! (who actually got booed by some. twitter says it was yankee fans. i hope (and suspect) they are right. they also said it wasn't many) Today's game starts at 1.

I'm going out this morning. Trader Joe's. The good Trader Joe's opens at 8 but is in West Seattle on the other side of the still broken bridge. So I'm going to the worst Trader Joes's (doesn't open til 9, has surly employees, horrible parking). It's close and it has what I need. The baseball game is a sellout, so I need to get there and get home before traffic gets weird.

Julio is still wary after the collar situation yesterday. Unless I'm dolling out food, he runs when he sees me. He'll get over it. Biggie's enjoying having the door open and hearing those birds.

I'm glad your 13-inning game wasn't against the Red Sox – extra innings on the West Coast is a real killer.

As it was, we were at an 11-inning game last night, and ended up getting home about 1:00 AM. And not happy about the result.

(Also not happy that the surprisingly large number of Braves fans in our general vicinity did that obnoxious chant-and-chop thing that Braves fans do. Not in our ballpark, thankyouvery much.)

we have Atlanta here in September. they try that chop shit here and they will be losing an arm. nicely and kindly but fer sure.

i told me nephew yesterday that you guys are having a mariners season. so sorry. (unless we're playing you then not so sorry)

but, yes, know that the asshole yankee fans on the east coast had to wait up until the very wee hours to get their loss made a sweet victory even sweeter
