susandennisThese two. They started their morning hijinx about 5 am. Well, they may have started before then but that's when I woke up I did enjoy about 45 minutes of just laying in bed listening to them while I dozed. They stayed in the bedroom while I treadmilled/ Biggie was sprawled on the floor in the doorway so he could see everything. Julio was in overdrive the whole time. Running and jumping and landing and running and jumping and trying to get into this spot and that without stopping. If he ran by Biggie, Biggie would swat, but he couldn't be bothered to get up. Then breakfast. They hoovered up their breakfast and then had seconds. Then Biggie chased after Julio through the house and back.
Now it is 7:14 am and they are napping and it is quiet. I did find Stickie in the bathroom this morning. He was in the living room when I went to sleep last night. I was glad he didn't end up in my bed again. Stickie's not a great cuddler.
Yesterday, once I got through, the doctor's billing office was pretty darned efficient. She spotted the problem right off the bat and told me not to pay it. Fine by me. I figured out I'd forgotten to add my brother as joint account holder on an account I set up recently. I want him to be able to access as much money as possible as easily as possible if/when I bite the bullet. So I called BECU to see how to fix and she said, well, you and your brother need to stop by a branch... fuck. BUT then I remembered he'll be here in a month so, yeah, we can do that!
One of the things I wanted to get at Trader Joe's yesterday was their buttermilk half chicken. I put it into a glass dish, added a little salt and pepper, and baked it according to directions. It was actually pretty damn good. I ate the dark meat half for dinner last night and think I'll slice up the white meat half for sandwiches. Should be enough for at least two lunches. I think it was about $10 so not a bad deal for three meals.
Plans for today include setting up the new cat tree today and the new litter box but they are both still out for delivery. So really not much going on until they get here. No baseball at all today.
Naps continue as I type but this was from yesterday afternoon.
