There's a Susan Dennis in Illinois who uses my email address for her PayPal account. I tried reporting this to PayPal years ago but no joy. So now I just get her receipts - she buys weird stuff. Not often but with big bucks. I get two emails every month about my PayPal statement - one for her and one for me. Today I got an email about a possible fraud. I did all the due diligence. Looked at the dets of the sending and receiving addresses, etc. I went to my account. No such evidence. I figured it was her account and here was my chance to finally get a divorce from her. I called the number. I did not check the number on the PayPal site which is NOT a match. It was clear from the get go that it was not PayPal (no telephone tree!).

I think Biggie's in a bad mood. One of them hissed at the other one briefly this morning and then went their separate ways. According to the cams, right now, Biggie is under the bed in the bedroom and Julio is under the day bed in the living room.

The review of the new cat tree is totally split. Biggie got up in it because he saw me put his treats in it. Once he had them, he was all yawn about the thing. But, Julio?! Julio found nirvana. He must have played with that thing for 3 hours yesterday. He batted the mice and chased the balls (inside the middle round part) and scratched the posts and did it all.



He was back at it this morning for a while. That's actually where they had their uncomfortable conversation.

It was a cheap-ish tree and while it's not horrible looking it's not great either. It's temporary, really.

This is the one I want. But it's too expensive. And too big. So, probably I will get it eventually but I want to wait until Julio is older.



I got some GREAT ideas from readers yesterday about rearranging the living room. Lost more options than I had ever thought. THANK YOU!

There are a couple of things I have already done and more, likely, when my brother - aka the muscle - gets here. But, today, I plan on doing a few changes and some tidying up. I tend to accumulate a vast amount of floatsum and jetsum around my chair and it needs to be culled out periodically. Today being that day.

Also I have a computer network issue. It's reading as a DNS pinging problem but I'm not sure that is it. I have, for sure, narrowed it down to the router or the modem and more likely the router. it's not debilitating so I may or may not futz with it today.

The baseball game is at 5. I did all the laundry yesterday so today will, after I finish chores, be crochet and Ozark. I'm deep in the weeds on Season 3.

I clicked on the link for the cat tree, and I gotta say, personally, I would NOT put a cat tree that close to my bed. I mean, who wants to give them that much encouragement and opportunity to leap onto you while sleeping from the top basket?

Not nearly as well as now. When we were growing up, he was handy to blame shit on but otherwise mostly a pain the ass. Our lives didn't intersect much after we left home. Some. I was his only family at his very small second wedding. But mostly I kept up with him through Mom and Dad. Once Daddy died, he and his wife stepped up to the plate big time in helping make sure Mom had her best final years and we've been pretty tight since then... so the last decade-ish.

What a weird situation! You'd think PayPal would get up off their corporate backsides for that, wouldn't you? Very strange.

I don't even get how it works. She never sees a receipt or anything from her Paypal account. I'm pretty sure I could go in and change her password if I wanted. And, yes, you'd think PayPal would care. But... nope.

I do, because of this, check my PayPal account way more than I would otherwise.

Definitely, you need a larger cat tree. IMO, it's Julio sized, but he's not going to stay a kitten for long! One thing, however, how sturdy will that larger cat tree be if a strong, healthy cat starts wildly climbing over it? I can see it tipping over.

There used to be this woman who had the same first and last name as me but an entirely different middle name and I used to get blamed for her traffic tickets by the DMV. It took me a log time to get that nonsense take care of.
