susandennisAbout 8:15ish every night, I shut out the lights and go back to the bedroom. I sit on the bed and play games on my tablet while I listen to my latest book OR if the Mariner game is interesting, I play games on my tablet while watching/listening to the game. I can see into the bathroom from where I sit.
Last night, I'm sitting there and the game is exciting but riveled by the bathroom antics. First they chased each other around and around and wrestled for a long time. Then they pulled the large towel (bath sheet) down off the rack and made it into a fort and took turns hiding under it and pouncing on top. Then they did the same with the bathroom rugs. It was hilarious to watch. We won the game, the cats quieted down and we all went to sleep.
This morning I woke up and turned on lights and no cats. I looked under the bed. no cats. I looked on the bed in the sewing room. no cats. I went to pee and Julio calmly walks out of the shower. I look behind the curtain and, there, waking up is Biggie. They apparently spent the night in the shower!
They just crack me up.
Just got the quote from Matt, the A/C man, and spent $9.010.00. The total system will be $18,000 and change. But, the more I think about it, the smarter the move becomes. I just need to remember that when it comes time for install. My neighbor down the hall will be getting her system installed soon - her hardware just arrived. She promises to share the pain and glory.
I did remember to check the credit limit on my Visa card last night. $10,000. Whew. And 1.5% cash back! Now we wait.
I think I'm going to brave the heat this morning and make a grocery run.
The radio broadcast of today's baseball game is going to be doable (i.e. the broadcaster I can't stand is MIA, thankfully). It starts at 1.
I'd like to take a shower before I head out. Wonder if the boys will let me use theirs...
