Oh the joy of oh dark thirty

susandennisI woke up a little earlier than usual, not that much. But I did not hop onto the treadmill. I decided to do that later today. I came out to the living room to discover it was still dark! I love a dark morning so much. And especially this time of year when it means that soon the hot will be gone. It did not really get light until after 6 am. Wow. and yeah!
This morning I also felt like we are kind of getting into a cat rhythm around here. Up, some breakfast - I dolled out a can for each but I think I'm going to go with a half can each tomorrow. And now they are bird watching together.
You think that's cute? Last night, Julio was under the day bed fast asleep when I switched to the new Netflix documentary about cats. After about 15 minutes of TV cat noises, he was hooked.
He sat like that for 20 minutes... until I turned it off. I'll watch the rest today sometime. I'll be interested to see if he's interested.
I think he's getting bigger but since he does not approve of being weighed, I can't tell how much. His friend, Frank, might come over today to play. Frank was here less than a week after I brought Julio home. He (Julio) was shy. He has certainly lost that!
I was amused and delighted to find so many liverwurst fans reading this! No matter what you call it or how you eat it, it's still delicious.
I'm re-getting used to using the laptop. It does have its advantages. I miss the touch screen and the giant screen but, a lot of that is just what you are used to.
No major plans for today. I have a sewing project to work on and there's a baseball game tonight. But first I need to do the treadmill.
