Waiting to Freecycle

susandennisI have a table and two chairs out on my terrace. They have been out there since 2005. They have been used maybe a half dozen times. They do make the terrace look like somebody remembered it's there and I like their current position - off to the side. BUT that side is going to be the home of the heat pump compressor. They would look ok in the center of the terrace but there's a dip where the drain is and the table looks like it's going to fall over.
So, they need to go. I put a notice downstairs offering them for free. No bites. But, I also put them up for grabs on FreeCycle which never works only this time it looks like it will! A dude is due to pick them up between 8-10 this morning. Fingers crossed.
Beth came last night to nail clip. She's a very different person than Leah. Nice but I felt like one wrong move and she'd be hotlining it to PETA. But she clearly knew exactly what she was doing. And did it very well. She wrapped them in towels in a very specific way. Neither was really happy abouIt the situation but both did fine. Front and back paws. She was here 30 minutes. I think I can replicate. She said to do Julio in a month and Biggie in six weeks. I'll have her back if I need a booster demo.
My phone got the next level of Android yesterday (13). It's the first time in a long time that I did not download the beta months before the actual release. I'm not sure why I didn't. But the changes in this new version and not massive. More subtle tweaks but a couple of the tweaks are really welcome ones. The finger print reader seems way better and the smart unlock (do not lock the phone when the phone is in my house) is a lot more efficient.
There's a baseball game this afternoon and that's about it for agenda.
I was just looking at the 10 day forecast and it is so Pacific Northwest. This Thursday, the high will be 91. 6 days later on August 31, the high will be 66.
Just got a text from Mr. FreeCycle. I need to go get dressed!
P.S. with this haircut, you can actually see the bruise that Julio's bonk gave me yesterday. That scamp. Note to self: move the damn lamp.
